Family Learning Workshops
To promote home-school learning links we arrange a number of Family Learning Workshops throughout the year to provide opportunities for parents and carers to come into school to find out more about our learning. These sessions are planned to include a short presentation by a member of our Leadership Team and an opportunity for parents and carers to spend time in class with their children.
Previous Family Learning Workshops:
Winter Warmers - Thursday 17th November 6pm-7pm.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Winter Warmers Reading Evening. Everyone enjoyed reading books from the library, drinking hot chocolate and talking about books. The workshops were successful with all who attended skilling themselves on how to support their children with: Phonics, Early Reading and Reading with Greater Depth.
Communication and Language Year R Worskshop
Thank you to everyone who attended the Year R Communication and Language worksop - what a fantastic turnout! The Year R team thoroughly enjoyed sharing their practice with the parents who attended. We look forward to continuing to work with all our Year R parents in the years to come.
